Support for ex-players and their families

We support former rugby and football players and their families affected by neurodegenerative disease linked to their sporting careers.

Whether you need practical advice, clinical support, help with your mental wellbeing or just want to talk to someone who gets it, we’re here for you.

What is the Player Support Programme?

Head for Change was founded in 2021 by people with first-hand experience of the impact that sport-related neurodegenerative disease can have on players and their families.

Our Player Support Programme brings together the different ways we can support you, from someone to talk to and practical guidance to clinical support.

You don’t need a diagnosis to get in touch.
