Come Ride With Me
It helps former players affected by sports-related brain injury to come together for a one-on-one cycle and chat.
We provide e-bikes from Orbea for participants, so there’s no requirement to be able to ride a mountain bike or cycle long distances.
We launched our first Come Ride with Me hub in Wales, led by our founder, Alix Popham. Dan Scarborough is leading our second hub in the North, and we plan to expand across the country later this year.
Since joining Come Ride With Me, it has made a huge difference to me.
It has really motivated me to get out – even on the really tough days.
I have found that Come Ride With Me has had a positive effect on me and this has made things easier all round.

I recently took part in Come Ride With Me, and the organisation and process were fantastic.
In all honesty, I was a little nervous having not ridden a bike in over 20 years, but Dan made me feel instantly at ease.
We chatted through the ride and gave our own candid stories and history. It really opened my eyes to ‘you’re not alone’, and it is a massive plaudit, which shows how hard the charity is working.
