Vale's 30k for Head for Change

Brain injuries can change lives forever. This year, I’m running to help make a difference.

I’m taking on three 10K races across Wales to raise money for Head for Change.

This cause is incredibly personal to me. Both of my brothers have been diagnosed with early-onset dementia and probable CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) as a result of head injuries sustained through rugby.

Throughout my life, my brothers have always been a huge support to me. Seeing first-hand how their brain injuries have affected their lives, their health, and their families has been truly heartbreaking. It has also made me realise just how important research, awareness, and support really are.

Head for Change is doing vital work to improve understanding of brain injuries, support families affected by them, and push for better protection and care in sport and beyond.

Running three 10Ks doesn’t compare to the challenges my brothers and so many others face every day, but it’s my way of standing beside them and helping raise money and awareness for a condition that still isn’t widely understood, yet has such a huge impact on so many lives.

If you’re able to donate, share this page, or even send a message of encouragement, it would mean a huge amount to me—and to the families affected by CTE.

Thank you for supporting this journey and helping raise awareness for brain health. 🧠🏃‍♂️
